'Terminator' News: First Episode Of Web-Series On Sarah Connor Vs. Jason Voorhees Released [VIDEO]
The first episode of a new web-series, called Slash-Up, sets the Terminator's Sarah Connor up against Friday the 13th's Jason Voorhees, released recently.

The short film is about 10 minutes long and starts with Sarah Connor's truck breaking down on a deserted patch, and of course, the camp where Voorhees lurks is nearby. Cut to his introduction, in which he attacks a bunch of young kids playing video games in a cabin in the woods. Connor intervenes when Voorhees is about to get his last victim, and guns him down. But as the two escape, it seems like Voorhees isn't quite dead. Voorhees catches up to them in the forest, which leads to a face-off between the two.
The web series seeks to pit "cinema's greatest heroes, villains, and icons, in an explosive, what-if short film."

This would be a nice appetizer for fans eagerly awaiting the first trailer of Terminator: Genisys, the fifth instalment in the series.
The new film is being directed by Alan Taylor and Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to reprise his role as the iconic mean machine. Jai Courtney will be playing Kyle Reese, Jason Clarke will be portraying the part of John Connor, and Emilia Clarke will play Sarah Connor. Sandrine Holt (House of Cards) will be playing Detective Cheung, who will "arrest Kyle and Sarah when they arrive in 2017."
While it had been suggested that the film will be a reboot, that is not exactly true. It has been reported that Terminator: Genesis will rewind to the first two films in the series and will move back and forth in the plot with the help of time travel scenes.
Terminator 5 is scheduled to release in July 2015.
