In an exciting new update about season 3 of House of Cards, it has been revealed that Jenna Stern of Law & Order will be bringing her expertise to the next chapter of the Netflix political drama.
Who Is Most Likely To Die In Season 3 Of House of Cards?
On October 16, TVLine reported that Stern has signed up for a recurring role, the details of which are not yet known, in House of Cards.
This bit of casting news follows the recently revealed news about Gone Girl actress Kim Dickens joining the show. The nature of Dickens' part has also been kept under wraps.
The Underwoods Inspired By The Roosevelts And Clintons?
Filming for House of Cards is taking place in Washington D.C. right now, probably to lend some authenticity to the setting, but for the most part the location is still Maryland, as it was for the previous two seasons. Kevin Spacey, who plays Frank Underwood, was recently spotted shooting a scene at a cemetery in Maryland.
The most recent talk surrounding the storyline had to do with the show's engagement with foreign affairs, particularly Russia, which has been a thorny issue for the US of late. It is known the Pussy Riot, the feminist punk group that was persecuted in Russia on grounds of profanity and their anti-establishment protest, will be guest starring season 3, playing themselves.
The show is directed by Beau Willimon and stars Spacey and Robin Wright, who portrays Claire Underwood on the show.
The third season of House of Cards will film in Maryland, where the first and second seasons were also shot. Initially, the continuation of filming of the third season of the Netflix series was fraught with troubles over the past few weeks as the producers weren't getting permission from the State of Maryland. But the issue was finally resolved on April 25.
