There's a good chance that Vanessa Marano from Switched at Birth might be taking a new kind of talent to the series.

Storylines Will Be 'Juicy & Fantastic' On 'Switched At Birth'

The actress, who plays Bay on the series, has graced the latest cover of Next Big Thing with some of her quotes that appeared on Just Jared on Thursday. Marano mentioned that the writers on Switched at Birth have a habit of taking certain talents from actors that can be used for the show although it seems that they have yet to find something that Marano is good at other than her acting.

"The writers like to use stuff that the actors can do in the show. They've had Lucas [Grabeel] and Lea [Thompson] sing, they've had Lea, Marley [Matlin] and Giles [Marini] dance, they've had Katie [Leclerc] play basketball and they quickly discovered with me that I literally can't do anything else but act," Marano said.

'Switched At Birth' Summer Finale Chatter

However, there is something that Marano can do that may have already been beneficial for the series since it's known for having shares of drama.

"I'm really good at arguing, that's something that I am very talented at," the actress admitted.

Marano also talked about how she knows sign language as well as Italian and how they're both great tools for her.

"I understand Italia better than I can speak it, but with sign language I speak it better than I understand it...it's actually very, very weird in a way," she said. "Sign language has weirdly helping my Italian and hindered it at the same time because they're so similar but so different."

The Switched at Birth Christmas special will air on Monday, December 8 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
