According to Reality Steve on Thursday, "The first four episodes were filmed in LA, then they went to New Mexico." The girls reportedly stayed at La Fonda Santa Fe, since production blocked the streets surrounding it.
Episode Six will reportedly be in South Dakota and the website reported that there was a Big & Rich Live Taping Event at the Deadwood Mountain Grand in South Dakota on Sunday night. This event was open to the public, as well and was "not a concert," but a taping for a TV show at a later date.

After this, Episode Seven moves to Des Moines, Iowa, which is the episode before the hometown dates.
According to Steve, "Episode eight is always the hometown date episode. So this will mark the first time in recent memory that a Bachelor or Bachelorette season never left the country before hometown dates."
According to Carter Matt, the first couple of episodes were taped at the Bachelor mansion and then also in some surrounding towns around Los Angeles. "We never rule out a nearby town like Santa Barbara, Pasadena, or anywhere in Orange County where you can both play up the romance and/or find a way to get people to show a ton of skin."
The Bachelor will return to ABC in January.
