With six rounds to an episode, the Battle Rounds pit singers from each team against each other. Winners advance to "The Battles, Round 2" (previously the "Knockout Rounds") while losers are either stolen by another coach or eliminated completely.

Entering Monday's episode, Coach Pharrell Williams already used up his two saves and was unable to procure anymore team members.

Team Adam Levine opened up the night's competition with a faceoff between Damien and Kelli Douglas, which was won by Damien's rendition of Eddie Floyd's Knock on Wood. Douglas was ultimately sent packing when she failed to make the cut with another coach. Levine later decided to save Matt McAndrew over Ethan Butler before saving both Blessing Offor and Toia Jones from Coach Pharrell.

Team Pharrell managed to retain Katriz Trinidad and DaNica Shirey over Offor and Jones while Coach Gwen Stefani's kept Ryan Sill and Team Blake Shelton chose to hold on to Taylor Brashears. Jessie Pitts moved to Team Blake and Bree Fondacaro was sent home.
