'The Originals' Season 2 Cast: Sonja Sohn Makes Debut As Witch, Photo Suggests Return Of 'True Blood' Star To CW Drama [VIDEO]
One leading wolf may be returning next week, but on Monday night actress Sonja Sohn joined the cast of The CW's The Originals, changing from friend to foe in record time.
Mikaelson Family Reunion To Be 'Big' For 'The Originals'
Introduced as a New Orleans witch Lenore, Sohn's character could have been a strong ally for Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) until of course Lenore's body was hijacked by the Mikealson boys' mother Esther following one intense family dinner.
Actress Phoebe Tonkin (Hayley) eagerly welcomed Sohn to the cast on Twitter, dedicating much of her live-tweeting to her performance. Apparently she was quite taken with her new co-star, even if she wasn't so fond of the giant creature with whom they shared a scene.

Sonja Sohn! You are so rad. And so scary! This was all shot at 4am on our very last day of shooting before our hiatus. #TheOriginals — Phoebe Tonkin (@1PhoebeJTonkin) October 21, 2014
Sohn's debut as Lenore-possessed-by-Esther tonight might just lead into the return of Nathan Parsons as Jackson, a werewolf who has yet to appear this season to defend his pack. On Monday actor Steve Krueger (Josh) shared a cast photo of a few "vamps" and "wolves" at the gun range, which included Krueger, Charles Michael Davis (Marcel), Parsons, and newcomer Colin Woodell.

If Parsons is bonding with old and new cast, it's possible fans haven't seen the last of Jackson just yet.
The Originals continues on The CW with its second season Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
