A first look at episode 7 of season 6 of The Good Wife was revealed via stills and they show Alicia (Julianna Margulies) headlong into the campaigning (for State's Attorney) process.

The stills are available for viewing on SpoilerTV and the highlight features Alicia and with guest star Hyde Pierce (Fraiser), who will be playing a celebrated cable news legal commentator on the show. The interview which takes place at CBS News, seems to be the first public interview Alicia might be giving as part of her campaign.

It was also previously revealed that Pierce's character will be running for office, because of the high rates of crime and corruption in the state.

Elsbeth's Reaction To Will's Death To Be Revealed In Season 6 Of The Good Wife

Earlier this year, the executive producers Robert and Michelle King spoke about getting that actor on board.

"We couldn't be more thrilled and flattered that David's making The Good Wife his first TV role since Frasier," they stated. "We're tremendous fans of his dramatic skills as well as his comedy."

The preview for the upcoming episode of the legal drama was also recently revealed.

In the clip Alicia is surrounded by all assisting with her campaign, and things are getting pretty intense for her. She has been assigned a "body woman," Eli's (Alan Cumming) daughter Marissa (Sarah Steele), who tells her she will stick to her and making sure she's no time and that her food is unpoisoned.

The exercise is to make her a "believable candidate." In the promo a political consultant is seen discussing the subject of God with her. The tag line also reveals that the process will "test her faith." Religion and faith in God are always a sticky topic in political campaigns, and Alicia is an unapologetic atheist. She discussed the issue with her kids in an earlier season, and in this chapter she also shared her views on religiosity with Dean Wilkins (Taye Diggs) in an episode titled Dear God.

The next episode of The Good Wife will air on October 19 on CBS.
