The upcoming third and fourth episodes of FX's American Horror Story: Freak Show will be centered on another classic horror myth: Edward Mordrake.

The third and fourth episode of the season are titled Edward Mordrake, Pt. 1 and Edward Mordrake, Pt. 2 and feature actor Wes Bentley (American Beauty, The Hunger Games) as the titular character. Famous from folklore, Mordrake was allegedly a 19th century British heir who had another face on the back of his head.

Bentley's character is seen in the promo for the episode and it looks like he will somehow be connected to the freak show.

"It's exploring the story of the Victorian era madman who reportedly was born with another face on the back of his head that would whisper and force the good part of him to do horrible, evil things," AHS co-creator Ryan Murphy explained to Entertainment Weekly recently. "There was a period based on our research that involved a freak show so that's part of the myth."

American Horror Story has covered many stories from historical figures, including the brutal socialite Madame Delphine LaLaurie in Coven, Anne Frank in Asylum, and the Black Dahlia covered in the show's first season.

Also joining the show in Episode 3 are Emma Roberts and Denis O'Hare as con artists Maggie and Stanley, respectively. Murphy revealed that the latter character has a particularly large feature, which the actor is quite proud of.

"At the time in American culture, there was a whole fascination with freak ephemera and medical oddities and one could get a huge amount of money for that. That's all I'll say about their story," Murphy said. "They're both introduced and Emma is amazing and Denis is always great. Denis really loves his part because he plays a guy with a 13-inch penis and that's all I'm going to say about that. So Denis has never been happier!"

American Horror Story: Freak Show airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
