‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Eric Makes His Decision About The Future Of Forrester But Maya Ruins The Announcement [VIDEO]
The day has finally come for Eric (John McCook) to make his announcement about the future of Forrester Creations-but things may not go quite as expected on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Eric decided to step down from his position as CEO, leaving the fate of the company to either Rick (Jacob Young) or Ridge (Thorsten Kaye)-and he is finally set to make a decision, though he knows he will be greatly upsetting one of his sons in the process.
"One of my sons is about to be very happy, and the other, very disappointed," he says to Hope (Kim Matula) in a preview clip for the Thursday, October 23 episode.
Rick Tries Convincing Eric He Should be CEO
Though he is nervous about making the final decision, he will receive some support, as his niece, Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) will assure him that whatever he decided to do will be the right call.
"Eric, you are the fairest person I know. Whatever decision you make is the way forward," she says to him in the clip.
However, when he makes the announcement about his decision, everything could begin descending into chaos-as Maya (Karla Mosley) will make a last-ditch attempt to try and break up Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) and Rick by exposing the affair she believes Ridge and Caroline have been carrying on behind his and Katie's (Heather Tom) backs.
"Ridge and Caroline are involved, and Rick and Katie deserve to know it," she says in the clip.
The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
