Morgan Dixon, the girlfriend of Dr. Craig Spencer who's been tested positive for Ebola virus, is currently being held into quarantine.

Craig Spencer's Steps Being Traced Back After Testing Positive For Ebola Virus

News broke out today that Spencer was rushed to the hospital on Thursday after experiencing Ebola-related symptoms, including a 103-degree fever and nausea. New York Daily News reported that he is the first victim in New York City to be diagnosed with the disease. This leaves some suspicion on if his girlfriend has it too since the site says that she and Spencer have been living together.

Spencer was taken to Bellevue Hospital where an "agitated woman" stopped by. She described herself as the doctor's fiancee and has since been quarantined, insiders said.

The doctor was at a bowling alley called The Gutter in Williamsburg on Wednesday night where he took Uber taxis and the subway to get around; he took the No. 1, A and L trains, according to the site.

This might cause people to worry about contracting the disease on the subway, but a doctor said that a person can't contract it just from being near someone in that area.

"You can't get Ebola from sitting next to or standing next to a person on the subway," Dr. Judith Aberg, chief of infectious diseases at The Mount Sinai Health System, said. "Unless you had contact with an infected person's body fluid, you are not at risk of contracting Ebola. Ebola is highly infectious, but it is not highly contagious."

A reporter stopped by The Gutter on Thursday night, but it was closed and a concert that was supposed to be held there got canceled due to "unforeseen circumstances."
