It has been eight years since the first See No Evil movie came out, but for wrestling star Kane, who plays the lead role, it wasn't too hard to pick the character back up. The wrestler also teases a more psychotic character this time around.

Kane spoke with Comic Book Resource on Tuesday about how his character, Jacob, has evolved during the time gap and how this movie will be much more different this time around.

"By the end of the first film, you're feeling sorry for Jacob because you realize his mother is the villain and Jacob is somewhat her instrument. Just her weapon," he said.

"In the new movie, she's gone. Now Jacob is having a bit of a psychotic breakdown and probably fully embraces his mother's perverted worldview. So he carries on the work that she had been doing. He has changed somewhat."

He also talked about some horror movie inspirations for his character and how characters like Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers helped to form Jacob in both movies.

"He's different - 'cause those guys are really emotionless. They're forces of nature just doing what they do," Kane said.

"On the other hand, Jacob is very emotional. In a lot of ways he's probably more emotional than your average person out there, whether it's rage or whatever motivates him. Of course, you do have the physical similarities, although Jacob's bigger."

As for a third movie, Kane isn't sure where that stands, but is up for another go with the character if they want to make it.

"I don't know if I'll have any input, but Sylvia, Jen and I have discussed some ideas. In fact, we may be presenting some ideas to the people that can make it happen," he said. "The three of us can give them our ideas and our script for See No Evil 3. Clearly it's something that I'd want to do. We do already have an idea so that would be great."

See No Evil 2 is available now on DVD, Blu-ray, and Video-On-Demand.
