Harry Potter is back, and he will bring the ever unpleasant, toad-faced Professor Umbridge along for the ride.

Formerly Hogwarts' simpering Defense Against the Dark Arts professor and Minister for Magic's Senior Undersecretary, Umbridge was famous for tormenting a young Potter during Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Now, Umbridge will return in a 1700-word story intended to explore the baddies' backstory.
Set to appear this Halloween on Pottermore, the J.K. Rowling-penned adventure will provide a "rich, 1700-word back story about Umbridge's life, filled with many new details, as well as Rowling's revealing first-person thoughts and reflections about the character."
Potter fans know how Voldemort became the villain of the century in the wizarding world, but Umbridge's evolution is entirely unknown. Perhaps readers will get a little insight into the origins of the Professor's scaring Blood Quill, or how her morals became warped enough to devise such a punishment for Hogwarts' youngsters.
It is unknown if this new passage will follow in the footsteps of last July's Rita Skeeter Quidditch World Cup expose, or if it will be in the same narrative voice as the Harry Potter series.
