The 100's Jaha is not as alone as he thinks.

Is Dwight's In Love On 'Haven'? Adam Copeland's Cop Turns To WWE Alum Jay Reso For Advice

Ready to die in an effort to save his people, Jaha (Isaiah Washington) is on the verge of throwing his life away at the end of the season 1 premiere. The cry of a young baby, however, could put his plans on hold. No longer alone on the arc, Jaha will have to decide if - and how - he should get this young life to safety.

"In the second episode, we play that story out to its fullest and it will be the thing ultimately that will hopefully wake up a desire to live, to go on, to figure out a way to get down to the ground," explained Jason Rothenberg, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "His whole thing has always been to get his people to the ground and even though he was willing to sacrifice his own life to do that, if he were to find himself up there with a baby, would he let the baby die? Would he say 'F---! Now I have to think of another way to get this baby down to the ground.' That was a way to reenergize and reactivate his character."

If viewers think they know where Jaha's story is heading, they may be in for a major shock.

"I think you'll be very surprised where that story goes, too," Rothenberg continued. "It's not at all what anybody will expect - some people might guess it, but hopefully most people won't."
