'Z Nation' Scores Season 2 Renewal, What's Next For Syfy's Patient Zero?
The Syfy series will close out its 13-episode freshman season with "Doctor of the Dead."
While the title isn't as humorous as the some of it's earlier counter parts (think "Puppies and Kittens," "Full Metal Zombie," and the upcoming "Zunami"), that doesn't necessarily mean it will be devoid of zombie babies or zombie tornadoes.
Z Nation follows the bloody, deadly, and admittedly humorous journey Sgt. Charles Garnett (Tom Everett Scott) an his team as they work to transport the only zombie bite survivor, Patient Zero's (Keith Allan), from New York to California. Three years after the ZN1 virus overtook the populace, Patient Zero's antibodies may provide a cure, but the only lab still in operation is on the west coast.
After surviving a gun show during "Welcome to the FU-Bar," the survivors will take on a zombie tsunami during next week's eighth episode, "Zunami." That's a zombie tsunami in Nebraska, in case the concept wasn't weird enough to begin with.
