Fans should prepare for some funny drama on season 3 of Beauty and the Beast as Catherine's (Kristen Kreuk) Asian aunts will be paying her a visit, and one of them will reportedly be cause for worry for Vincent (Jay Ryan).

Cat's "Mother's Old Ring" To Take Her On An "Unexpected Journey" In Season 3

TVLine gave away this exciting spoiler, revealing that casting was on for the part of Catherine's aunts, Lily and Claire. The report also revealed that the producers were looking for Asian actresses for the roles. Lily might be giving Vincent plenty grief as she has been described as "no-nonsense one out to get the 411 on her niece's rugged roommate Vincent." Claire is a safer bet as she is more of a "family peacekeeper."

Cat's aunts will be introduced in the fourth episode, entitled Chasing Ghosts, of next chapter.

New Stills Feat. Catherine and Vincent In Season 3 Of Beauty and the Beast Revealed

Previously, it was revealed that another new character, Cat's new partner at work, in season 3 will be problematic for Vincent. Detective Wesley Atchison, who will be played by Brandon Gill (Golden Boy), will be partnering up with Cat. Now, this could make Vincent slightly insecure owing to Cat's history with Gabrial Lowen (Sendhil Ramamurthy). Gabe was Cat's colleague, actually boss in the team, and the two were a couple for a while, which riled Vincent up. While Tess (Nina Lissandro) used to partner with Cat previously, having a new man by her side might put Vincent on edge.

The season 2 finale, Deja Vu aired on The CW at 8 p.m. on July 7.
