'Captain America 3' Movie Rumors: Marvel Revealing The Sequel Name As 'Civil War' Or 'Fallen Son' In Press Event? [VIDEO]
It looks like Marvel is going to pull a play from Apple and host a special, secret event to reveal some of the biggest news the studio has.
Rumors have circulated after a tweet by Marvel hinted at a secret event would be happening on Tuesday that could reveal some of the biggest rumors that have swirled around the Marvel universe.
One possibility is the studio confirming the news that broke yesterday that Benedict Cumberbatch would be playing Doctor Strange in the July 2017 movie directed by Scott Derrickson. They could choose to reveal him here before the first glimpse at him comes at the end of Avengers 2 or Ant-Man.
Is An 'Ant-Man' Character Going To Be In 'Captain America 3?'
But the most logical reveal that could happen is the name for the next Captain America movie. Many believe it will either be Civil War or Fallen Son as to hint at the coming events within the universe that will be happening and were hinted at with the casting of Robert Downey Jr. in the movie as Iron Man.
The names of their movies have always been a big reveal and something that the studio has done far in advance or at least with the last group of them that were revealed all at once.
Could this be the only surprise that Marvel has today? There could also be confirmation of a few other heroes like Black Panther or a Black Widow movie. But another possibility is the full reveal of the new Avengers team that will appear at the end of Avengers 2 with the full cast there as well.
