The preview video for the upcoming episode of The Affair reveals Alison lashing out at Noah for making a "test case" out of her.

In the clip Noah (Dominic West) and Alison (Ruth Wilson) are seen getting closer as they launch into a full-fledged affair, while navigating the amorality of it in conversations with each other. Alison comes across as pretty strong headed and clear about the fact that she doesn't see the world in black and white. But at one point she completely loses it on Noah, who might be trying to be trepidatious about the whole thing.
"I don't want to be yout test case Noah, so you can prove to yourself just how much you love your wife," she says, storming off.
She also feels like he is manipulating her, thinking she is "some easy going girl" who will lift him up with her spiritedness.
The premiere of Showtime's new drama, The Affair, has already caught the attention of critics, and has viewers hooked with its Rashomon-styled narrative.
The show premiered on October 12 and revolves around Noah, a writer struggling to pen his next novel. and Alison, a waitress at a diner as the duo recall their affair for a mysterious interrogation. The fans aren't made privvy to the subject of the interrogation in the first episode. Both Noah and Alison are married, while Noah seems happily married with four children, Alison's marriage is tumultous over the loss of their only child.
The show premiered on October 12. The first episode is available for free viewing on the official website.
The next episode of the series will air on November 1 at 10 pm ET/PT on Showtime.
