While a great number of movies and TV shows are set to begin streaming on Netflix starting on Nov. 1, there are also many classic movies that are expiring and won't be available for streaming.

As with each month, Netflix is taking off many of its classic movies at the beginning of November, in addition to some TV series, per Now Streaming.

Many noteworthy classics are set to be taken off the site, including American Psycho, Apocalypse Now (and Apocalypse Now Redux), The Big Chill, Breezy, The Buddy Holly Story, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Conqueror Worm, Footloose, For a Few Dollars More, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, The Odessa File, Orca: The Killer Whale, Say Anything, Silent Running, St. Elmo's Fire, Steel Magnolias, Thelma & Louise and Vigilant Force.

Netflix is also taking away three classic animated TV shows, Barney, Bob the Builder and Thomas & Friends.

Many movies from the 2000s are also being taken off starting on Nov. 1. Among newer movies users need to watch before Saturday are Balibo, Bulletproof Monk, Fire in Babylon, Hannibal, Heat Wave, A Raisin in the Sun, Red State, Serenity, Small, Beautifully Moving Parts, Tetro, Tortilla Soup, Under the Tuscan Sun and Up at the Villa.

Other movies being removed from the site are favorites from the '80s and '90s. These include 101 Dalmatians (live action version), Allan Quartermain and the Lost City of Gold, Blown Away, Brighton Beach Memoirs, Broadcast News, Candyman, Caveman, Cheech & Chong's Next Movie, Cloak & Dagger, The Dogs of War, Elvis '56, The Escape Artist, The Great Outdoors, Hammett, He Said, She Said, Iceman, King Solomon's Mines, La Bamba, Les Miserables, The Ninth Gate, One from the Heart, The Prince of Tides, Single White Female, Starman and Trees Lounge.

All of these movies and TV shows are set to leave Netflix in November, though it is possible that many if not all of them will be back eventually at an undisclosed later date.
