A Utah family of five who was found dead last month by family members were reportedly poisoned, according to new police findings.

According to CBS News on Thursday, the couple Benjamin and Kristi Strack and their three children were "found together in a locked room with cups next to each of them, and empty bottles of methadone and nighttime cold medicine in a trash can."
Although police haven't said who killed them or if one of the parents were involved, they said the family was likely poisoned.

The couple, Benjamin and Kristi, were found in their bed with their three kids lying around them, with bedding tucked up to their necks. Kristi was reportedly found with red liquid coming out of her mouth. It was unusual that the children were in their room since they have their own rooms.
The bodies were found by Kristi's oldest son and her mother. Kristi's mom reportedly said she couldn't believe "she" would do this to the kids but wouldn't elaborate, according to police documents.
Police couldn't say anymore until they got back the results of a toxicology test. "Until I get those, I really don't have anything," Springville police Lt. Dave Caron said. "I could come up with all sorts of theories, but it's not helpful."
Apparently the family was quiet, but little is known about them. A family spokesman has declined to reveal much and, at a vigil, family members declined comment, according to CBS.
