It turns out the new Broadway star opted out of the vacation because of issues she had with blood clots.
Fans might remember that Leakes was in the hospital after suffering a severe blood clot in her lungs. The extra long trip from Atlanta overseas to the Philippines was a little too much for Leakes, TMZ reported Thursday.

Some fans speculated that Leakes did not go on the getaway because of the recurring disses that the cast has thrown at one another even before the season premiere.
Interestingly enough, her current arch nemesis Kenya Moore has implied that she is no longer on the series.
She shared a picture on Instagram of the entire cast (sans Leakes) in the Philippines Wednesday- Kandi Burruss, Phaedra Parks, Porsha Williams and new girls Claudia Jordan and Demetria McKinney.
Moore captioned the picture, "The girls of #RHOA", which caused several fans to wonder where Leakes was.
One commented, "Where is Nene? No nice :(" while another boldly added, "NeNe is not on the show"
Another fan even referenced Leakes past as a stripper and wrote, "NeNe who? Sorry Kenya was already on the map in the 90s when NeNe was twirling the pole. #teamtwirl".
On top of that, Leakes took to her Twitter the same day and wrote, "You can never WIN when you play dirty," a quote she has often told Moore on the show.
The Real Housewives Of Atlanta's seventh season premieres on Bravo Nov. 9 at 8/7c.
