With Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice wrapping up in Michigan, the production team is moving to Chicago for more scenes, but not before the film's director could show his many thanks.

Zack Synder, who is directing Batman v Superman in addition to two subsequent Justice League movies, called in to a Detroit radio station this week to offer his gratitude to the city.
"We're getting ready to wrap it up and take off and I just wanted to say thanks to you guys for being strong supporters of the movie and coming down and saying hey, and just, I've had a great time in Michigan, I just wanted to say thanks to you guys and just to Detroit itself," Snyder gushed.

Asked if this meant they were doing filming in the area, Snyder said that they are set to "head to Chicago after this, then a couple more locations.
"I've had a really great time, everyone's been amazing, the local actors and stuff that we put in the movie have been amazing," he continued. "I've never been around such great day players."
Batman v Superman has been primarily shot in Michigan, a relatively unique location for such a big budget movie.
Snyder also discussed the appearance of Jason Momoa in the film, the actor playing Aquaman.
"I was hanging out with him here in Detroit and he was loving on it so hard ... He's a great guy, but like I say not a small individual," Snyder explained.
It is not clear how much filming is in the can on Batman v Superman but they certainly have plenty of time for post-production if they are nearing the end of shooting.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled for release in theaters on March 25, 2016.
