'Hannibal' Season 3 Spoilers: Lecter Series To Film In Europe, Where Will Production Stop? [VIDEO]
Hannibal's Dr. Lecter and Will Graham will certainly take the Grand Tour during season 3.
It looks like Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen) will take his Fugitive act to Italy for a large portion of the season, but Will (Hugh Dancy) may have to track the cannibal through several other European countries.
"It's funny because we're turning Toronto into Lithuania, we're turning Toronto into Paris, we're turning Toronto into Florence and Palermo," teased series creator Bryan Fuller, according to Zap2It. "It's about finding interiors that give us a little bit of history and a little bit of aesthetic that gets us out of the Toronto sphere.
Fuller and crew will do the majority of filming up in the Great White North, but the NBC psychological thriller will jump to a warmer Mediterranean climate during December.
"We're actually going to be going to Italy for exteriors," Fuller explained to Zap2It. "We're going to be shooting in December in Florence...When you see those exteriors intercut with the interiors, the audience's mind will just make the connection."
