Stuart Gillard, director of Beauty and the Beast, recently tweeted about trying to persuade Alan Cumming to join the cast for The CW show, while posting a selfie of them together behind-the scenes of Cumming's Broadway show, Carbaret.

Cumming is seen posing for the camera as Gillard looks on in the backdrop with another friend.

"Backstage at "Cabaret" with my friend the brilliant @Alancumming - trying to talk him onto Beauty #batb #beasties," he tweeted.

Gillard has also been pretty good about keeping fans updated with behind-the-scenes images from the set of filming for season 3.

Recently he revealed new pictures featuring Vincent (Jay Ryan) and J.T. (Austin Basis).

In one of the images the duo are seen prepping for an "intense emotional scene," while describing the other Gillard jokingly states that they're having a face-off.

Last month, he posted an image of Vincent and Catherine (Kristin Kreuk) via Twitter, showing the couple in an intense spot, something's got them pretty darn worried. It looks like it is a capture from the third season of The CW show, filming for which is currently underway. While stills of the duo from the set of the show have been revealed earlier, none have been as clear.

One of the more endearing and poignant images that was posted via Twitter, featured the couple looking on at the 9.11 memorial. It showed back shot of the couple, intertwined in each others arms as they look on at the brilliantly lit memorial.

The season 2 finale, Deja Vu aired on The CW at 8 p.m. on July 7.
