On Monday actor Adam Bartley (Ferg) reported on Twitter that "good things" were happening behind the scenes, suggesting that some news might break soon.

Robert Taylor (Longmire) also shared some words of encouragement this week, and while he's the only major star from the series who isn't on Twitter, he did post a video Tuesday (featured below) voicing his optimism and suggesting good news is on the way.

"Hey posse," declared Taylor directly to the camera, "Things are getting real close. Real close."

Wearing a tan baseball cap and black Santa Fe t-shirt, the actor continued to thank fans for their support. "I don't know what to say except that your amazing," he added. "Just keep up the good work. And you're a saint. I love you guys.

"I've got a good feeling," the actor insisted.

For over a month producers have been courting Amazon, Netflix, USA and TNT with the hope of finding the popular crime drama a place of its own.

If Longmire does manage to find a new network, it will likely return for a fourth season sometime during the second half of 2015.
