She might be starting her own journey now that she is a married woman, but Jessa Duggar is making it clear that she will always look to her parents Michelle and Jim Bob to guide her. The reality television star gushed about her parents at her wedding, calling them the most "influential" people of her life.

According to People Magazine on Monday, Jessa said, "I'm so happy to have so many friends at my wedding from so many places. And I'm so grateful for my parents. Their influence has been so special to me. I look forward to a long, happy, marriage."

Her sister Jill, who got married back in June to Derick Dillard and is expecting her first baby, also chimed in with, "Jessa and I shared a lot with us being in relationships and us getting married. We have great examples in our parents that love doesn't have to end. Spend lots of time together and remember, the honeymoon doesn't have to end."

Meanwhile, Jessa and her new husband Ben Seewald didn't have their first kiss during their wedding ceremony, as they opted to enjoy the moment in private instead.

According to Radar Online on Sunday, their Pastor made the announcement that Jessa and Seewald would be having their first kiss in private while her parents Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar gave the audience what they wanted to see. The couple "locked lips" so the crowd could see at least one Duggar couple kiss that day.

What's more, it looks as though the wedding was a hit as the bride wore an Allure gown with Swarovski crystals and pearls. Seewald wore a traditional navy suit and bow tie. Jessa's sister Jinger was her maid of honor while Seewald's best friend Dylan McMahan served as his best man.
