'The Good Wife' Season 6 Spoilers: Cary To Be Sent Away For A Decade In Prison In Upcoming Episode? [VIDEO]
The recently revealed preview for the next episode of season 6 of The Good Wife shows Diane (Christine Baranski) warning Cary (Matt Czuchry) that he was days away from spending a decade in prison.
Numb3rs Star To Join Cast Of The Good Wife?
Cary is seen confronting Diane about not representing him well enough in court, and demanding that she needed to protect him more on the stand. At which point, Diane is seen informing him that he could be put away for a very long time.
The clip also shows Alicia (Julianna Margulies) making a faux pas as she tries to help out at a soup kitchen while washing the dishes, but is dressed in an expensive attire. As the photo op is part of her campaigning, Eli (Alan Cumming) is seen pulling her up for wearing clothes that make it look like she is "dressed for a dinner party."
Cary To Get Killed Off By Lemond Bishop?
Previously, TVLine suggested that it was ikely that Cary will be going to be thrown into the lock up again and the inference is made from the fact that the CBS show is getting a new character, Tim, who is meant to play a "prison consultant" for Cary. Tim is an ex-convict whose role would be to advise Cary to help him survive in prison.
The CBS legal drama was already on this drift as even when Cary was in prison the first time, there were suggestions of him having to stick out for much longer.
Speaking to E!Online, Robert King revealed that Cary would be in jail for longer and the story was to be continued.
"You will see him in jail longer, it is kind of a "to be continued" at the end of the episode. The good thing for us is you're always looking for explosions that can happen in the world that doesn't just impact one or two characters, but all of them," he said. "Michelle [King] pointed it out, while it does impact Alicia, it also impacts Diane joining the firm with Taye Diggs. How are they going to be absorbed into something that is already fraught? The other thing is if Alicia chooses to run, it really does impact her campaign. It's that kind of pivot point that we had last season with Alicia leaving the firm in episode five and Will's death in episode 15."
The next episode will air on November 9 at 9:30 pm ET and 9 pm PT on CBS.
