One of the more outspoken members of Netflix's Orange Is the New Black cast faced off against a subway preacher Tuesday morning.

What We Know So Far About 'Orange Is the New Black' Season 3

Lea DeLaria, who plays Big Boo on the prison comedy-drama, was taking the D train where a preacher was quoting the Bible and speaking against homosexuality. DeLaria, an out and proud lesbian, spoke up and preached her own message to the preacher.

"You have no right! You have no right!" DeLaria enforced to the man, as seen in the TMZ video. "Get off this train! Other people believe other things, and have every right to believe other things on this planet and in this world. We do not have to be force-fed this man's religious beliefs. Jesus never said for you to do this! Not anywhere in the Bible!"

The preacher eventually mentions Sodom and Gomorrah, elaborating on the "sin of homosexuality," which really set DeLaria off.

At one point, DeLaria mentions other things regarded as sin in the Bible, including eating pork and wearing clothes of mixed fibers.

Orange Is the New Black is well known as being one of the more progressive shows on television, having depicted fluid sexuality and transgender issues to much acclaim. DeLaria's Big Boo has yet to have her own flashback episode though it is possible she will in the third season.

Orange Is the New Black is scheduled to come back for Season 3 in mid-2015 on Netflix. The first two seasons are currently available for streaming on the site.
