She also chose not to be at home to avoid paparazzi and protect her and Nida's two sons, Ayden and Dylan. She revealed that she did speak with him that day but was not happy that she decided to leave with their boys.
"I'm not gonna subject my kids to any of this crazy press stuff," she said at a hotel. "I don't want them to have any idea of the disaster that's going on."
Back at the Parks' house, Nida opened up about his upcoming hearing.
"I'm not a child molester. I'm not a murderer. I'm not on the corner selling cocaine. I understand what I've done is illegal. It's wrong. But it's fixable."
He also confirmed he pleaded guilty to wire, mail and bank fraud. Nida said he was caught up in the fraud scam after the woman he was working with had to roll over on him.
"My wife and children, they left. The woman that I thought was supposed to be there for me and cherish me, is nowhere to be found."
The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 premieres on Bravo at 8/7c.
