'Thor 3' Rumors: Loki Playing Major Role In Future Avengers Movies, Could Help Thanos Recover The Infinity Stones [VIDEO]
Marvel may be loosening up the amount of Loki we are getting, but that doesn't mean the former Avengers foe won't play a major part moving forward in the Marvel universe.

With the recent news that Loki would be showing up briefly in Avengers: Age of Ultron, it seems to hint at the role he will play in the destruction of Asgard that will be happening during Ragnarok in the third movie. But what else could Loki be doing?
The third Avengers movie will be a two-part special with Thanos fighting most likely every Marvel character up to that point in a massive showdown. But the Mad Titan doesn't have any of the infinity stones right now, so how is he going to get them? Loki.

Right now, the Infinity Gauntlet and Tesseract (from Captain America: The First Avenger and The Avengers) is in Odin's collection on Asgard, but currently we don't know what has happened to him after it was revealed in the last Thor movie that Loki was posing as the ruler.
It would seem likely that to regain favor with Thanos, Loki will give him the gauntlet and first stone that he seeks. He could also be the one who steals the orb (from Guardians of the Galaxy) from the Nova Corps and deliver it.
The Aether (from Thor: The Dark World) was put in the possession of The Collector, but the destruction of his museum when the Guardians visited now puts into question whether he still has that item or if Thanos already got ahold of it somehow.
The final stone, Loki's scepter from The Avengers, is now in the possession of HYDRA's Baron von Strucker, who is set to play a big role in Avengers: Age of Ultron and was seen with the item during the post-credit scene with Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch.
Loki could be the person that Thanos has help him retrieve these items and could be his role moving forward in the Marvel universe.
