The Blacklist's is facing down a three-month hiatus, and the fall finale will have Blacklisters joining forces with football enthusiasts as they anxiously await the series return on Feb 1.

The NBC series scored the coveted post-Super Bowl slot, and the final moments of Nov. 10's "The Decembrist" will undoubtedly play into the first few minute of the spring premiere.

"A lot goes down in [episodes 8 and 9]...there will be some huge, huge events that will change the direction of the show," teased Amir Arison (Aram) in a new interview, adding, "208 ["The Decemberist] will not be disappointing for the fans."

James Spader, the man behind the ever-calculating Red Reddington, shed a little more light on the upcoming episode as he promised a bit of a resolution, although it remains unknown whose problems that will solve. Of course, this is The Blacklist we're talking about, and every answer always creates twice as many questions.

"There's a resolution of sorts," Spader said in a behind-the-scenes interview. "But any resolution on our show opens up another door, and the resolution is always going to be painful and bittersweet."
