'Insurgent' Movie News: Shailene Woodley Says Next Film Has More 'Sacredness Of The Story' Than 'Divergent' [VIDEO]
With the next movie in the Divergent series coming out next year, Shailene Woodley took the time to talk about what fans could expect from the sequel and her impressions of the new director who is taking over.
'Insurgent' Trailer Coming Earlier Than Anticipated?
Speaking with MTV News last week, Woodley talked about the process on set with director Robert Schwentke and what he brought to Insurgent that wasn't there for Divergent.
"If something felt off-cantor, he would stop production, we would walk away and figure it out and go back, which is something that doesn't always happen on big movies," she said.

"I really felt like he was protecting the sacredness of the story, within the world of big-budget film."
Woodley has promised a more personal story in the second movie before and it looks like the actress is excited to see where the franchise is headed with Schwentke at the helm possibly for the next two films.
If it follows the Hunger Games, whose franchise really took off with the second movie and with a new director, it could lead to Schwentke taking over the final films as well.
Insurgent follows Tris (Woodley) as she searches for allies and answers in the dystopian ruins of a futuristic Chicago. Tris and Four (Theo James) are now fugitives on the run, hunted by Jeanine (Kate Winslet), the leader of the power-hungry Erudite elite. Racing against time, they must find out what Tris's family sacrificed their lives to protect, and why the Erudite leaders will do anything to stop them.
The film is directed by Schwentke from a script by Brian Duffield and Akiva Goldsman. It also stars Jai Courtney, Naomi Watts, Ray Stevenson and Octavia Spencer.
Insurgent opens in theaters on March 20, 2015 with the first trailer expected to be released sometime around Nov. 21 when Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 is released.
