Director T.J. Scott lended his support on Monday, promoting the #LongmireLives hashtag during the drama's "Twitter Stampede" with the hope of getting the series trending.
Longmire was cancelled after its third season on A&E in spite of being the network's top-rated scripted drama and second highest-rated series behind the reality show Duck Dynasty. Producers are currently trying to find the program a new home with places like Amazon, Netflix, TNT and USA. At this time, however, a network hasn't stepped up to formally save the series. Since the actors are contracted to the show through the end of the year, it does give producers the time they need to make things happen.
If Longmire does manage to find a new network, it will likely return for a fourth season during the second half of 2015.
