‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Michael Tracks Down & Shoots Sonny To Avenge AJ’s Death [VIDEO]
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) has become a master at escaping the penalties for his crimes over the years on General Hospital, but his luck has officially run out.
Thanks to his affair with Carly (Laura Wright), the truth about his murdering AJ was revealed at her wedding to Franco (Roger Howarth), and now, the mob boss is about to see how both the legal system, and his personal honor system, will both come back to haunt him.
Because D.A. Scott (Kin Shriner) was at the wedding, the police are now trying to track Sonny down so they can put him in jail for the murder-and family loyalty won't keep him safe, as the detective who is on the hunt for him is none other than his own son, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna).
"You have to tell me where Sonny is, right now," he says to Morgan (Bryan Craig) in a preview clip for the Friday, Nov. 7 episode.
And while Dante tracks down Sonny, Anna (Finola Hughes) will be taking down his associates who helped him cover the murder up-including her own boyfriend, Duke (Ian Buchanan).
"I'm here to arrest you," she says to Duke in the clip.
But though the police are trying to track down the mobster and murderer the legal way, the person most affected by AJ's murder-his son, Michael (Chad Duell), who was raised by Sonny and understands how he pays people back for hurting his loved ones-has tracked him down. And now, Sonny's "eye for an eye" system could cause the son he raised to suddenly turn on him and avenge the death of his father.
"You killed AJ!" Michael screams at him in the clip.
General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
