Brown spoke with Entertainment Weekly recently about Marks and his big scene with Bobby (Mark Boone Junior), revealing it to be very "moving" while filming it.

He also previewed that "you will" see Marks again in the final four episodes and revealed why he hopes Sons of Anarchy fans identify themselves in him despite his evil deeds.

"I hope the fans can see a little bit of themselves in Marks with respect to doing what you feel is ultimately right at the time and most beneficial for all involved," Brown said. "And when you're forced to play the dark hand, you don't hesitate. You're not doing it with malice, but you're doing it to get from the point where you are to the next goal that lies ahead of you."

He revealed that he had never viewed Marks as an evil killer who was just wreaking havoc randomly. Each action he takes is with reason and due to his own circumstances.

"I hope they can see in Marks a guy who had bigger sights on the horizon and was not just a thug," Brown said, of Marks' legacy. "There was charm there, there was affability, there was a willingness to work with others [Laughs] as they say in Washington. When those things couldn't fly, then it's go time."

Sons of Anarchy airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
