'X-Men Apocalypse' Movie News: 'Big Hero 6' Star Jamie Chung Is Down To Play Psylocke For The Series, Says She Was The 'Coolest Character' [VIDEO]
While most of the rumors around the next X-Men movie have surrounded the re-cast of some original characters by younger actors, but the people behind the film have also teased the introduction of some characters and this actress really wants in.
'Insurgent' Star Moving To 'X-Men' Next?
In an interview with Comic Book Resource on Thursday, Jamie Chung, who plays GoGo Tomago in Disney's Big Hero 6, talked about what superhero character she would love to play and zeroed in on one rumored X-Men role: Psylocke.
"X-Men was my favorite Marvel property. It was Wolverine and Cyclops. I've always wanted to play a Jubilee or a Storm or a Jean Grey, the Phoenix series was amazing, and I was so intrigued with Mystique," she said.

"But ultimately I thought the coolest character was Psylocke. I really wanted to be Psylocke."
Chung added that with no interpretation of the character yet, she would love to bring the role to life in the next movie.
"No. Hopefully they'll bring her into something. But I think the fans -- I kind of put it out in the universe, and the fans, some are like, 'Oh my God, that would be amazing,'" she added.
"And the other fans are like, 'No, that's so wrong casting. She needs to be British. She needs to be this and that!' And so I just put it out there for fun."
Psylocke is a new character that writer Simon Kinberg teased coming in during a few of his interviews recently so Chung could have her chance to take on the character soon.
X-Men: Apocalypse is set to open in theaters on May 27, 2016.
