VH1 has fired Yung Berg from Love & Hip Hop Hollywood after he was arrested for assaulting his co-star and rumored girlfriend Masika.

The network released a statement Friday evening.
"Based on the severity of the allegations against Yung Berg, VH1 is terminating its relationship with him in connection with Love & Hip Hop Hollywood, effective immediately.

Yung Berg was arrested on November 5th and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing in connection with an assault on fellow cast member Masika Tucker.
The arrest took place in a New York hotel several hours after the taping of the reunion special for Love & Hip Hop Hollywood had wrapped."
News of Yung Berg's alleged attack against Masika hit news earlier this week. According to TMZ, the couple had just had dinner in New York City. When Yung Berg went to pay, his card was declined. He then stormed out of the restaurant, leaving Masika with the bill. She paid before she went upstairs to confront him. That is when he is said to have gotten physical with her. A police report obtained by the entertainment news site reveals Tucker's account on the incident.

She also revealed that she had deep cuts on her right forearm, above her left eyebrow, on her chest and bruising on the left side of her neck.
