The Blacklist's fall finale might be a game changer for Tom Keen.

James Spader Teases 'Painful & Bittersweet' Fall Finale, What Will Happen In 'The Decembrist'?

Liz Keen's (Megan Boone) deceitful ex-husband is currently spending his days locked in a boat hold, but freedom could be on the horizon. Unless Liz kills him first, that is.

As Tom (Ryan Eggold) informed his captor in "The Scimitar," she only has two options left - she could kill him, or she could let him go. It appears either decision will at least lead to a little fresh air for Berlin's henchman.

Will Liz Kill Tom On 'The Blacklist'? Could Fall Finale End Ryan Eggold's Role?

"It wouldn't be an interesting series if I was [locked up] forever," Eggold teased, according to Sunrise. "That's all I'll say."

A still from the upcoming fall finale, "The Decembrist," shows that Tom will, in fact, be moved at some point during the episode. Unfortunately for him, everyone from Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) to Red (James Spader) would like to see him six feet under.

Now that Red and Berlin are squared away, however, the dynamic between Mr. Keen and Mr. Reddington could see change as well.

"There maybe some information coming on that as well," Eggold cagily replied when asked if Red still hates his guts.
