The synopsis for the upcoming episode of The Good Wife was recently revealed and it suggests that Cary (Matt Czuchry) might collude with the FEDs to help them nab Lemond Bishop (Mike Colter).

The promo also shows the FEDs convincing Cary by informing him about a wire tap which reveals Bishop's intent to murder Cary. Alicia (Julianna Margulies) is also seen confronting her opponent for the state's attorney race in the clip, with guest star David Hyde Pierce (Fraiser), who will be playing a celebrated cable news legal commentator. Cut to a Alicia confronting Peter (Chris Noth) about some evidence -- which it seems like he is responsible for -- that could be used to malign her during campaigning. "They're going to use this against me and you, and I won't stand beside you," she tells him.

Recently, TVLine suggested that it was likely that Cary would be going to be thrown into the lock up again and the inference is made from the fact that the CBS show is getting a new character, Tim, who is meant to play a "prison consultant" for Cary. Tim is an ex-convict whose role would be to advise Cary to help him survive in prison.

The Menacing Colin Sweeney Set To Return In Upcoming Episode Of The Good Wife

Speaking to E!Online, Robert King revealed that Cary would be in jail for longer and the story was to be continued.

"You will see him in jail longer, it is kind of a "to be continued" at the end of the episode. The good thing for us is you're always looking for explosions that can happen in the world that doesn't just impact one or two characters, but all of them," he said. "Michelle [King] pointed it out, while it does impact Alicia, it also impacts Diane joining the firm with Taye Diggs. How are they going to be absorbed into something that is already fraught? The other thing is if Alicia chooses to run, it really does impact her campaign. It's that kind of pivot point that we had last season with Alicia leaving the firm in episode five and Will's death in episode 15."

The next episode of The Good Wife will air on November 19 on CBS.
