A&E's former crime drama Longmire held it's weekly "Twitter stampede" on Monday to help promote a fourth season for the series on a new network.

As usual star Lou Diamond Phillips (Henry) took part in the endeavor, though his words were particularly poignant as they spoke to the show's evolution since its cancellation.

Others from the cast joined in to support the program. A. Martinez (Jacob) posted a series of photos promoting the show, adding some comments about what makes Longmire great.
Even Katee Sackhoff (Victoria), who is usually absent from the stampedes, popped in to repost some messages from the fans. Contracted through the end of the year, the cast remains loyal to the cancelled program even as they take smaller projects to keep busy.
Producers have been shopping the series around over the last two months, bringing the show before places like Amazon, Netflix, TNT and USA with the hope of scoring a home for the series.
If Longmire does manage to find a new network, it will likely return for a fourth season during the second half of 2015.
