Showtime has renewed The Affair, starring Dominic West and Ruth Wilson, for a second season.
Alison Might Have Had An Affair With Noah's Father-in-Law, Bruce?
The premiere of Showtime's new drama, The Affair, caught the attention of critics, and has viewers hooked with its Rashomon-styled narrative.
The show premiered on October 12 and revolves around Noah, a writer struggling to pen his next novel. and Alison, a waitress at a diner as the duo recall their affair for a mysterious interrogation. The fans aren't made privy to the subject of the interrogation in the first episode. Both Noah and Alison are married, while Noah seems happily married with four children, Alison's marriage is tumultous over the loss of their only child.
Investigation Related To Alison's Husband Cole's Murder?
In the next episode, things spiral out of control as Noah starts to mistrustful of Alison, and also starts spying on her, as she seems to be keeping something from him. Meanwhile, Cole (Joshua Jackson) is also seen losing it around Alison. Oscar (Darren Goldstein) is also a menacing presense in the clip as he is roughing Noah up at his Lobster Roll joint, and tempers seem to be flying.
The show premiered on October 12. The first episode is available for free viewing on the official website.
The next episode of the series will air on November 15 at 10 pm ET/PT on Showtime.
