Now this is advice that we can all definitely apply to our own lives. According to Jennifer Lopez, she thinks that we should never stay in a job out of fear just because it limits us from "pursuing bigger and sometimes riskier" things.
Is Jennifer Lopez Heading To Vegas?
According to the Business Insider on Tuesday, Lopez writes in her new book, True Love that the only way to reach a certain level of success is when you step out our your comfort zone and start pushing boundaries on your own.
The entrepreneur wrote, "I had been so afraid of it all - afraid I would fail, afraid people would criticize me... And then I realized if I didn't believe in myself, nobody else would either... If I didn't do this tour, I'd probably regret it for the rest of my life... I loved being on Idol, but it was time to move on. It didn't make sense for me to spend a third year in a row sitting on a panel, judging other singers, especially if the main reason I was doing it was for the security of it."

In the book, Lopez also admits that while she's experienced both love and loss, there was a certain element "missing" from her past relationships, which included her marriage to Marc Anthony and her highly-publicized engagement with Ben Affleck.
She admitted, "There was something in my relationships that wasn't lining up... the missing component was me loving myself and being able to take care of myself... they always say put on the oxygen mask first, right? But it's true... you have to love yourself."
What's more, Lopez said that she's still open to finding true love again, even though this time around she will definitely be more cautious.
As far as her perfect boyfriend, Lopez said that he should definitely be one of a kind. She said, "He behaves very good, he's super faithful, he's super sweet. He's funny... he doesn't have to be [famous] at all."
