A slow-burning storyline, the Densi relationship has played out in the NCIS: LA background for several seasons. Occasionally brought to the fore, such as in "The Frozen Lake" or "Spoils of War," the budding romantic relationship will hopefully have a bright future.

Unfortunately, viewers will have to wait for wedding bells.

"I don't think that will happen anytime soon," explained Daniela Ruah (Kensi), according to ET Online. "But to a certain degree, I think that it's kind of owed to these characters to end up together whenever that may be."

In the meantime, Eric Christian Olsen (Deeks) believes the two both have to undergo a bit more self-discovery before they can truly have a relationship.

"I think on the journey of self-actualization, Deeks is pretty early on. He's just taking those first couple of baby steps. I don't think he knows who he is or what he wants," Olsen explained in a CBS interview. "And I think that's one of the main kind of obstacles in the relationship, both of these creatures are just trying to put one foot in front of the other and navigate their own lives and failures and failures in relationships and their own kind of tumultuous past with their parents."
