It looks as though Tori Spelling wanted to use her husband's ex-wife to pull in ratings for her reality television show, but her plan might have backfired on her. According to a new report, Spelling is supposedly furious that Dean McDermott's ex Mary Jo Eustace is a celebrity now, thanks to her appearance on True Tori.

According to Radar Online on Wednesday, Spelling's plan to appear more sympathetic to fans by bringing Eustace on the show hasn't gone as planned. Many viewers think that not only is Eustace more attractive than Spelling, but that she's a nicer person, too.

An insider tells the site, "Mary Jo is coming off as just a true class act among all of these crazy people. Not only is Mary Jo gorgeous, but she's a genuinely nice person, too."

So far, Spelling herself hasn't commented on the report.

Did Dean McDermott Cheat On Tori Spelling With Multiple Women?

Meanwhile, it doesn't look like True Tori will be back for another season.

According to Radar Online back in October, the first season of True Tori debuted with over 1 million viewers. The first episode of the second season only brought in a dismal 766,000 viewers.

During one episode the couple argued about the possibility of having McDermott's procedure filmed, with the actor adamant that he doesn't want it televised for the world to see.

According to the Daily Mail he said, "I don't know... I feel like Spencer Pratt. Does the world really need to know this? It's my reproductive organs. No cameras please... go go, seriously, please go. I'm losing my mind babe."

Spelling and McDermott have been married since 2006.
