The series is promising a major reveal during "The Gray Man," and investigating a chameleon undercover agent makes the perfect backdrop to explore the team's own secrets.
Over the years, Blye (Daniela Ruah) has unveiled a fair number of surprising facts about her past. In season 3 she investigated her father's death and reunited with her mother. In season 5, viewers found out more about her past with Jack. While it certainly isn't the secret that riles up Granger (Miguel Ferrer) in "The Gray Man" promos, Kensi does offer up another tidbit about her teen years in a new sneak peek (see video below).

As Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) dives back undercover as a homeless man in order to search for the elusive agent, Kensi reveals that she spent time on the streets after the death of her father. Deeks seems genuinely surprised at the news, but Kensi believes he already knew all about it.
"I know Hetty told you," Kensi tells her partner/boyfriend. "You can fool everyone else, Deeks, [but] you can't fool me."
