In a recent interview, James Cameron, spoke about Arnold Schwarzenegger's character, the iconic cyborg, ageing in Terminator: Genisys.

Screen Crush reported from an event celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Terminator, at which Cameron and the orginal movie's writer Gale Anne Hurd were present.

"I pointed out that the outer covering (of the Terminator) was actually not synthetic, that it was organic and therefore could age." he said. "You could theroretically have a Terminator that was sent back in time, missed his target, and ended up just kind of living on in society. Because he is a learning computer and has a brain as a central processor he could actually become more human as he went along without getting discovered."

Entertainment Weekly recent cover story on Genisys last month, and fans should prepare for a whole bunch of inside information about the making of the movie and the plot twists. In the excerpts available online it is revealed that Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) will actually be quite different from the Sarah fans have known until now. She will not be a diffident waif, who is completely thrown by the Terminator tracking her and clueless about her destiny as John Connor's (Jason Clarke) mother and the war against Skynet. The new Sarah Connor will be aware of her detiny since she is 9 years of age and will be raised by an older T-800, played by Schwarzenegger.

Terminator 5 is scheduled to release in July 2015.
