'The Hobbit' Part 3 Spoilers: Billy Boyd Song From 'Battle of the Five Armies' Soundtrack Unveiled [VIDEO]
A song from the soundtrack of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies by none other, than actor Billy Boyd, who played Pippin in The Lord of the Rings.

Boyd spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about working on the song.
What We Know So Far About The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies
"We focused on not just the final installment, but moreso on this 10-year epic adventure," Boyd said. "A song to sum up the six movies. We recorded in Wellington, New Zealand, at one point traveling to Auckland to Neil Finn's studio - where we recorded some of the guitar. It was surreal to be in his studio, as he did the song for [2012's] The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey."
The soundtrack to the movie will be released on December 9.
The last trailer for The Battle of the Five Armies released on November 9. The clip captures Thorin's madness as the dwarf king leads his men into battle, against reason. Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) is seen questioning Thorin about his decision to wage war.
"You brought upon them only ruin and death, you've won the mountain is that not enough?" he asks
"Now, we defend it," Thorin responds.
Saruman (Christopher Lee) also makes a special appearance in the clip, as he says that he will take on Sauron.
The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies will hit theaters on December 18.
