Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Evans and her mother Barbara don't always see eye to eye and on Saturday the MTV star felt the need to step in and rescue her five-year-old son Jace from his grandmother's sense of style.

Barbara has had custody of Jace since birth, overseeing everything from his schooling to his haircuts. However after seeing the new 'do Barbara had given Jace last week Evans decided her boy needed a complete makeover.

Evans lives with her boyfriend Nathan Griffith along with their four-month old son Kaiser, and Griffith agreed that the hair needed to be "taken care" of before Jace went out again.

In addition to the revised look, the reality star shared some pictures of her son sporting a new jacket.

Most notable in the hair debacle, however, seems to be when Griffith referred to Jace as his "future step son" on Twitter.

While Evans and Griffith have yet to formally announce an engagement, they seem to be headed towards marriage. The couple are also looking to get custody of Jace, though they are still biding their time before making a move.
