'Is 'Doctor Who' Too Reliable? Steven Moffat Looks To Shake Up Story
The Doctor's (Peter Capaldi) current companion made it through the season 8 finale, but rumors continue to swirl regarding Jenna Coleman's continued involvement with the BBC series.
Speculation grows as Capaldi's return was announced ahead of Coleman's.

"Yes, he's confirmed," said showrunner Steven Moffat on Monday, according to The Hollywood Reporter, although the executive producer remained mum regarding Coleman's contract status.
It seems like Clara's fate hinges on the Christmas Special. If the schoolteacher decides to leave the Doctor's side - or worse, meets an untimely end - viewers will find out on Dec. 25.
For her part, Coleman is reluctant to give away any spoilers.
"The truth is ... I don't want to tell you the truth because I quite like these rumors," Coleman confessed to This Morning. "I think it's really interesting because, suddenly, people don't know what's going to happen in the series, people don't have any idea, so this speculation is quite good. People can now watch the show not knowing if I am or not, and that is quite exciting."
