Paul Walker Sr. spoke to MailOnline ahead of Walker's first death anniversary (November 30). According Walker Sr., the actor had shared his displeasure at having signed of for more Fast and Furious films and another action series, Agent 47.
The actor wanted to spend more time with his daughter Meadow, and be around for her. "Paul was planning on taking a break from starring in movies, and stepping away from Hollywood, to spend more time with Meadow," said Walker Sr. "He was so proud of her, she is incredibly intelligent and beautiful, and Paul wanted to be there for her as she grew up."

Walker's father also spoke of the 40-year-old actor's disenchantment with fame and wanting to give it up for a peaceful existence with his family.
"In fact, he would've swapped his Hollywood fame for the quiet life with Meadow. Paul wasn't big on fame and preferred to live modestly," he said. "But he signed on for the Agent 47 movie about a hit man, and it was already agreed that if it was successful there would be three further movies made. That was something he confessed to me he wished he hadn't done because he wanted to be with Meadow."
Walker died on Nov. 30 in a car crash in Santa Clarita, Calif. He was the passenger in a car being driven by his friend, race car driver Roger Rodas, who also died in the accident. The speeding car hit a tree and instantly burst into flames, causing both the actor and Rodas to die on the spot.
