It seems like Spacey must definitely be taking some notes from Clinton and the influence must rub off somewhere when the actor plays in a fictional setting of the hill on House of Cards.
Spacey's friendship with the Clintons is well known.
In August, Spacey was part of a fun spoof featuring Hillary Clinton, celebrating Bill Clinton's 68th birthday, in a House of Cards tribute to the former president.
In the clip, Spacey is in character as Frank Underwood and is seen in his office stating that he gets bored at the White House during summer and likes to play pranks on his predecessors. Then he dials up Hillary's office in New York impersonating Bill and asking her what she had got him for a gift. As she suggests that she hasn't decided yet, he tries to convince her to get him an elephant statue for the backyard. Soon enough he is found out as Hillary asks him to just sign his card.
The video is for the Clinton foundation and is pretty hilarious.
The third season of House of Cards is currently filming in Maryland, where the first and second seasons were also shot. Initially, the continuation of filming of the third season of the Netflix series was fraught with troubles over the past few weeks as the producers weren't getting permission from the State of Maryland. But the issue was finally resolved on April 25.
Recently it was also revealed that parts of the show will be shot in Washington, D.C., where the story is actually set.
